…. but really only Lake Ontario. It is just so impressive and magical when it is all iced over. It feels like you can see all the way across to the US on the other side, such wide open space.
This is actually on my commute into town, so I pass this particular part of Lake Ontario shoreline several times a day usually. And really, no matter how hurried, cranky, anxious or tired I may be – I do appreciate the view. It is always part of my day to check out how the water is – choppy, calm, big waves with white horses, misty, frozen, slushy… Always one of the highlights of living in Canada!
